How to measure the length of skirt or trouser:

Start the measuring tape from where you are going to tie around waist area.  Keep standing straight and then get someone to see where the length finishes at bottom near feet, depending on where you would like the length to finish.  It would be more accurate if you measure with wearing the shoes you are going to wear with this outfit.
